Bio:

 

Tom Pisani is a drummer/recording engineer from New York. After having played drums in bands all of his life, he decided in 2001 to become a full time recording engineer, his schooling, and experience with bands such as Silvertide, Revelation Theory, and The Sleeping Revolt, have shown great knowledge in recording and production techniques. Tom Pisani is known for creating a wall of sound with crunching guitars, deep resonant bass, to hard hitting powerful drum sound for the Rock/Hard Rock genre.

Music is a passion for Tom. Playing drums since the age of two, he became a proficient drummer in Rock/Hard Rock genre. In high school Tom was awarded the Louis Armstrong Jazz award. Moving forward Tom Joined the band Inquestion and toured extensively over 2001-2005. He was also the engineer and producer for the bands records. At the same time he toured with the Pink Floyd Tribute The Machine, where he served as drum tech and sound engineer. Growing as a well known engineer in the New York Tri State community Tom was chosen to head up the live portion for the Imus In The Morning show, where he worked artists such as Brad Paisley, DwightYoakam, Levon Helm, and Van Zant just to name a few. Tom was in charge of one of the largest production facilities on the east coast Future Starz Entertainment Complex in NJ. He served as engineer as well studio manager. Tom’s technical approach to recording has been a long road of both analog and digital equipment He achieves the analog sound in the digital world of Pro Tools.
